The company
My client is an established provider of communications compliance solutions. Their software enables firms across regulated industries to capture mobile message data from sources such as SMS, iMessage and WhatsApp and put it into 3rd party archives for compliance purposes.
This is a critical area for financial services firms as regulators crack down on non-compliant message and levy huge fines to those without the software to manage this.

The role
- New business sales targeting brand new customers and growing business within accounts
- Find sales opportunities at banks, brokers, asset managers, hedge funds and energy/commodities trading houses
- Build pipeline and close deals in line with agreed quota
- Demonstrate the solution to prospective customers
- Develop a strong understanding of the key industry drivers and pain points around compliance
- Work with pre-sales to demonstrate the product’s capabilities
- Maintain an up to date and accurate sales CRM and report pipeline and deal progress to the regional manager
- Support product development by passing client and prospect feedback to the product team
- Represent the brand at industry and networking events
- Manage complex contractual and commercial negotiations
Essential Requirements
- Proven record of selling SaaS solutions into the capital markets space
- New logo sales experience
- Top class negotiations skills
- Willingness to do your own initial demos
- Excellent relationship and rapport building skills
