The company
A successful and growing provider of software to the global financial services industry is looking for a Sales Executive to join the team based in Fleet, Hampshire. You will be expected to be in the office at least one day per week.
My client has launched a new SaaS product aimed at helping customers in the wealth management space to improve efficiency and modernise their workflows. This is a growing industry that has been slow to modernise and my client is capitalising on this with an easy-to-implement solution that has proven popular with customers already.
The role
- New business sales targeting customers in the UK and Europe
- Work with marketing and the lead generation team to identify and target prospective customers
- Build a qualified pipeline
- Manage the sales process through to deal signing with the support of pre-sales and the head of sales
- Close business in line with your annual quota including contractual and commercial negotiations
- Maintain an update to and accurate CRM and report progress to the head of sales
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in either technology sales or financial services
- The ability to be in the Fleet, Hampshire office at least 1 day per week
- Willingness to do European travel to meet customers
- Proven record of winning new business
- Tenacious with a desire to learn and improve
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
