Head of Sales - IT Cloud and Telecom services

£50-55K pa Basic plus double OTE

The Company

Our Client is a successful IT Cloud and Telecom services provider to UK businesses, their network, communications and computing platforms, combined with committed service, will let business applications run more smoothly, securely and continuously.

The Role:

  • Developing and growing your team
  • Ensuring targets are achieved
  • day-to-day man management for personnel matters
  • Driving a significant element of new business
  • Managing and maintaining major accounts
  • The ability to motive and manage sales team to deliver great results

Skills and Requirements

  • Successful sales career within relevant industry
  • Continually monitor and review individual's performance
  • Assist team members with sales strategy and tactics, overall and for individual opportunities
  • Organise team and individual training as appropriate
  • Ensure ISO process compliance.
  • Review proposals prior to submission - especially for public sector and new team members
  • Bi-weekly review of individual pipeline development
  • Recruit where necessary.
  • Ideally have sold in to the public sector is a real plus but not a major.


  • Proven track record in the telecom sales including knowledge and experience of the following services:
  • Leased line data connectivity
  • Analogue & IP voice solutions
  • Cloud service provider connectivity
  • Datacentre interconnect/IP transit
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Use of office products
