The North Starr, part of the Harrington Starr recruitment group are looking to place a seasoned Digital Transformation Project Manager. This role will see the post holder combine the elements of best practice IT & Digital Project Management with client driven transformation programme initiatives. Please note this role will be of interest to mid -senior Transformation Project Managers looking for a new permanent challenge.
You will be working on the client site in Bristol although there will also be some home working if the projects are running smoothly. Our client is based just outside the City so it will be advantageous to have your own vehicle.
The core responsibilities for this Transformation Project Manager will be as follows.
Coordinate the delivery of new user experience offered across all digital channels.
Be involved in project initiation, set up and management of client driven project work
Lead the multi-disciplinary agile teams, including external partners, in the delivery of new digital services set out in the Customer Digital Strategy.
Support the customer in supplier and product selection to deliver the required technical building blocks.
Help control all commercial related finance issues around budgeting and forecasting
Assist with the set up & management of the project team to include BAU resource & IT Development
Manage the change control procedure & ensure the project deliverables are completed to cost, timescale & budget
Help to project manage the delivery of successful transition into the clients business function.
Working to ensure the tactical introduction of all new client service propositions in accordance with the TOM objectives.
Work closely with the IT Software Developers to exchange ideas and ensure clients objectives are being achieved.
To qualify for this Digital Transformation Project Manager role we require the following skill set.
Must have recent commercial experience at the mid - senior level range of Digital Project Management
Coordinate with the customer change management processes to deliver the digital changes in the organisation.
Must understand Agile and be skilled in Agile Scrum
There will be technical, hands-on liaison with the client and IT team so a technical background will be useful
Technical background in Infrastructure, Server, Networking, Cloud & Digital will be useful
Will ideally have some experience of project management roles within a vendor based software business.
Must have experience of working with external client base and project managing software solutions.
Experience of working with Web and or Digital IT teams to deliver best practice client solutions.
Strong SDLC exposure and excellent IT Software awareness.
Broad understanding of various transformation programmes ranging from Cloud/ Network upgrades
Have worked on Website & CRM projects as part of the wider portfolio or have broad knowledge
Can produce evidence of all aspects of commercial budgeting & forecasting of projects, varying levels of cost.
