Business Development Representative – Cyber Security, Crypto, Blockchain
New York (remote)
$60,000 – $70,000 basic salary + $100k+ OTE (uncapped commission)
My client is a Series A Cyber Security start-up who provide hack-proof technology to protect blockchain-based digital assets managed by banks, exchanges, and custodians.
They offer the only end-to-end platform that combines a completely offline vault to ensure 100% protection against hackers.
Due to the success of their technology and product, they are in hyper growth mode in 2023 and are looking for their first Business Development Representative hire – this person will be a proven high achiever, with an ambition to progress into a sales team leadership role and a desire to earn significant earnings.
This person will be responsible for researching prospective customers, creating outreach strategies, and identifying sales opportunities. You will also have discovery conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how we could help a business grow, and successfully position our value proposition.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely and collaboratively with VP Sales to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Conduct high volume prospecting and outreach to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
- Schedule discovery meetings for VP Sales to further assess a prospect’s business and potential
- Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Help customers in the finance space realize their full growth potential using our product
Essential Requirements:
- Must have 2-4 years previous successful BDR/ SDR experience, prospecting to B2B customers
- Must have 2-4 years selling Cybersecurity, Blockchain or Crypto SaaS products
- An aspiration to progress in to a team lead position, and to maximize commission earning potential
- Experience prospecting financial customers – highly desirable
- A track record of high achievement, with a desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
- Tools used in this role: Monday.com, Salesforce and HubSpot
