The North Starr recruitment team are looking to make a quick hire for our market leading client in Luton.

We are looking for an experienced BI Developer who can combine their talents for best practice Business Intelligence with SSIS technology

Based in near to Luton, you will be joining a niche data team which is currently undergoing a strategic change.

You will be working for one of Industries best BI Managers and therefore you will have a chance to be coached & mentored across a range of technical areas.

The core responsibilities:

Supporting up to 40 datasets and bespoke in-house software across the business.

As part of the wider team you'll support and develop the end-to-end ETL and Datamodelling solutions

Help to create visualisations and reports for various projects

Perform in-depth analysis of business processes and systems and report back to the BI Manager with new ideas & concepts.

Helping to optimise the delivery and performance of data.

Communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on the delivery of business requirements.

To qualify for an immediate interview here's the essential Skills:

  • Microsoft BI Stack - SQL Server 2012 onwards including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS with SSAS being optional.
  • Data warehouse design and implementation.
  • Conceptual, logical, physical Datamodelling.
  • Strong T-SQL, Indexing & execution plans
  • Strong Optimization knowledge
  • Strong Visualisation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex processes.
  • Ability to consistently work thoroughly and accurately with an eye for detail
  • Experience in the application of data and reporting technology across multiple data sets in a dynamic environment.

Our client is looking to on-board this new BI Developer within 4 weeks so an ideal start date will be around the end of March.
