Establishing a new category in the world of smart buildings data and enterprise facilities management, this organization is a first mover with their AI powered, enterprise grade SaaS solution. Headlines:

Role Overview:

As VP Sales, you will play a vital role in quickly understanding and establishing the GTM motion. Joining at an early stage in the company’s growth as the sole salesperson and reporting to the CEO/Founder, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Win new enterprise contracts with Fortune 500 customers (personally closing deals)
  • Develop a scalable GTM playbook
  • Recruit, onboard and coach a small high performing enterprise sales team

 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as one of the first salespeople in an early-stage startup who has also hired a small team of reps, or experience leading revenue teams as a frontline sales leader in a startup with referenceable success and growth. If you excel in a role enabling the transition from founder-led sales to a scalable sales team structure, you should apply now.
  • Strategic ability to construct the GTM playbook, territory and account plans
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex deals at Fortune 500 companies through a structured sales process to closed-won
  • Consultative and detail-oriented sales approach. Ability to work with complex data sets and capable of educating prospects on the value of this new technology.
  • Experience in the smart buildings industry/product ecosystem is NOT required. A background selling any disruptive/new market entrant enterprise SaaS solutions will be a strong match.
