The company
My client is a series B funded and rapidly growing SaaS company supplying an AI based platform to buy and sell-side firms globally. Their products are scalable and can cater to the smallest of hedge funds through to top tier global investment banks. Their product addresses several key regulatory challenges for financial markets firms and they are going from strength to strength
The role
- Work with marketing to devise and execute campaigns to build awareness and interest
- Build a pipeline of financial institutions in the EMEA region
- Work with presales to progress sales opportunities
- Engage with the product team to address functionality gaps and drive new features
- Close business in line with agreed quota
- Represent the brand at relevant industry and networking events
- Maintain and up to date and accurate sales CRM
Essential Requirements
- Proven ability to acquire new customers and meet quota
- Experience selling SaaS solutions to buy and/or sell-side customers such as hedge funds, asset managers and investment banks
- The ability to build strong relationships and influence the sales process
- Expert negotiator with experience managing complex contractual and commercial negotiations
- Demonstrable understand of the key trends and drivers in the capital markets industry
